Twitch wants each emote in three sizes: 112×112, 56×56 and 28×28. Drop one image and get all three PNGs at once. Uploading emotes needs Affiliate or Partner status.

Upload to Twitch

Go to the Creator Dashboard → Viewer Rewards → Emotes.
Upload each size into its slot (112, 56 and 28).
Emotes must be clear at 28×28 — a bold, simple subject reads far better than a busy photo.

Animated emotes use a GIF (up to 1 MB, 60 frames) — that path is coming. Static emotes work today.
