Get correctly sized files, then upload them inside your server.
Semi-automaticThe website gives you correctly sized files; the upload itself happens inside Discord.
The hard limits
These four columns — size, file weight, animation length and format — are the ones that actually get a pack rejected. Everything here matches what the app enforces.
| Requirement | Discord |
|---|---|
| Size | 320 × 320 |
| Static max | 512 KB |
| Animated max | 512 KB |
| Animation length | ≤ 5 s |
| Static format | PNG |
| Animated format | APNG / Lottie |
| Per pack | 5 slots (free server) |
| Also required | Needs Manage Expressions permission |
What trips people up
- Animated stickers must be APNG — the uploader rejects GIF.
- Uploading needs someone with the Manage Expressions permission; it can be done on a phone.
